Natwest has been my bank for many years. Every time I’m in there, they ask me about mortgages. Eventually my friend and i sat down with them and they gave us an agreement base on our joint salary. After a few weeks we found a property. We went back in to proceed with our application only to be told they had ‘calculated our salary incorrectly’ and can no longer offer us the original amount!
